As a Project Manager, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

  • The coordination and implementation of Horizon Europe
  • Involvement in the conceptualisation and development of new project proposals under Horizon Europe.
  • Co-lead the development of the company’s research portfolio in the domains of your research expertise.
  • Assist in designing and implementing our Horizon projects’ tasks and deliverables.
  • Contribution to the delivery of policy, business, innovation management, and/or stakeholder engagement/networking services for the needs of the company’s Horizon projects.
  • Manage internal or external human resources/teams in project implementation and proposal development.
  • Involvement in the strategic planning of the International Projects / Research department activities and in the recruitment and mentoring of junior staff.

The ideal candidates should have:

  • BSc degree and an MSc in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Business or Social Sciences. A doctoral degree is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • More than two (2) years of work experience in the implementation and management of EU research projects (e.g. Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe) or tender projects/studies for the European Commission and other EU institutions and agencies (e.g. DG MOVE, DG Research, CEDEFOP, EASME, etc.).
  • Industry and/or academic experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods (e.g. surveys, market research methods), business modelling and planning, or programming languages will be considered an asset.
  • Industry and/or academic experience in the broader fields of circular economy, bioeconomy, environmental sustainability, governance, and ICT will be considered an asset.
  • Hands-on experience preparing EU research proposals or managing EU tender bids will be considered an asset.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a must. Other languages are a plus, but not a requirement. Greek is not a requirement.
  • High integrity and reliability standards.
  • Production of clear and concise results and strong leadership potential.
  • International outlook and ambition (e.g. experience abroad, experience with multinational teams and openness towards international travelling)

  • A BSc/MSc degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Business, or Social Sciences. English-written dissertation would be a plus.
  • Strong academic performance (e.g. we are looking for top-in-class graduates; please indicate your grades in percentile, if possible).
  • Industry and/or academic experience in quantitative and qualitative research methods (e.g. surveys, market research methods), business modelling and planning, or programming languages will be considered an asset.
  • Language skills – Our working language is English. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a must. Other languages are a plus, but not a requirement. Greek is not a requirement.
  • Multi-tasking abilities and a consultant mindset (e.g., working across different tasks and domains, with demanding deadlines, proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn).
  • International outlook and ambition (e.g. experience abroad, experience with multinational teams, and openness towards travelling abroad).

As a Communications Associate Project Manager, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

  • Communications management: help develop and execute effective communications strategies for corporate clients and public organisations
  • Develop different types of content (tweets, press releases, newsletters, blog posts, videos) for different types of media (audiovisual media, print and social media) and manage accounts
  • The daily implementation of communication and dissemination strategy and activities (e.g. social media, website content management, audiovisual media, events management)   of international projects (Horizon Europe, EU Studies)
  • Preparation of deliverables and reports related to communication and dissemination activities of international projects
  • Stakeholder engagement: Develop a network of people involved in the EU decision-making process and media. Help organise events (both physical and virtual), select and coordinate with high-level speakers, identify and manage invitees and follow up.
  • Summarise the results of communications campaigns and prepare the respective reports.

The ideal candidates should have:

  • A BSc/MSc degree in Communications, Social Sciences, Business, EU Affairs or a relevant discipline. English-written dissertation would be a plus.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in implementing international research projects or EU Studies will be considered an asset.
  • Strong academic performance (e.g. we are looking for top-in-class graduates; please indicate your grades in percentile, if possible).
