Project Manager – Public Affairs & Communications

White (White Research SRL) is a young, fast developing boutique research and consultancy company headquatered in Brussels and with a satellite office in Greece. We offer policy advisory, public affairs and applied research services. We work together with leading academic and industrial partners on large collaborative projects (private sector projects, grants and tenders) in areas ranging from technology, sustainability and mobility to energy, innovation and skill development. Our team has a dynamic work day and can benefit from a rapid professional development and an extensive network that covers some of the most well-known private and institutional organisations in Europe.

To support the growth of Business Services department, specifically in the area related to public affairs, stakeholder engagement and communications, we are currently looking for a full-time Project Manager and team leader, with 4-5 years of experience, for our Brussels office.

Your responsibilities

The selected candidates will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

  • Business development; identifying and creating new opportunities
  • Take a leading role in the Public Affairs team in implementing work for our clients
  • Daily management of the work (e.g. dealing with client requests, supporting in the implementation, guiding the team, etc.)
  • Service level management
  • Management of external partners and subcontractors
  • Cooperation with the other departments in further developing our business services

Your responsibilities

The selected candidates will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

  • Business development; identifying and creating new opportunities (especially regarding tenders)
  • Take a leading role in the EU tender team in writing proposals and implementing won projects for the EU Institutions
  • Preparation of budgets and financial offers (in collaboration with the Director)
  • Daily management of tender services (e.g. daily review of opportunities, provision of input for the Administrative and Financial Department, if needed, etc.)
  • Project management for ongoing tenders (supervision of timeline, resource management, quality management, review of deliverables, presentations with the clients, organisations of events, etc.)
  • Management of external stakeholders, clients and partners
  • Cooperation with the other departments in further developing our business services

What we look for

  • Experience in tenders (proposal writing and project implementation)
  • Experience in managing (small) teams as well as small to middle-size consortia of external partners

  • Language skills – Our working language is English. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is a must! Fluency in French is highly desirable, other languages are a plus
