We are currently recruiting a full-time Associate Project Manager (APM) to further grow our Communication and Stakeholder Engagement department. This person will be based in Brussels.

Your responsibilities

  • Communications management: help develop and execute effective communications strategies for corporate clients and public organisations.
  • Content creation: develop different types of content (tweets, press releases, newsletters, blog posts, videos) for different types of media (audio-visual media, print and social media) and manage accounts.
  • Stakeholder engagement: develop a network of people involved in the EU decision making process and media. Help organise events (both physical and virtual), select and coordinate with high level speakers, identify and manage invitees and follow up.
  • Supplier management: engage with and manage external partners and subcontractors.
  • Report generation: summarize the results of communications campaigns and report back to the client.

The new APM will report to the head of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement and Managing Director.

What we look for

  • University Degree in EU Affairs, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, Communications, Business or other relevant discipline.
  • Good knowledge of EU related topics such as sustainability, innovation, energy, digital security, privacy and product safety.
  • Experience working in the area of communications, stakeholder engagement or public affairs around the EU is a bonus.
  • Language skills – our working language is English. Full fluency English, both verbal and written, is a must. Other languages are a plus but not a requirement.
  • Multi-tasking abilities and a consultant mindset (e.g., being able to work across different tasks and domains, with demanding deadlines, proactive attitude, and eagerness to learn).
  • Communication and social skills (e.g., competence in expressing complex ideas in writing, networking skills, communication and presentation skills, ability to work in diverse teams).
  • Team player who can also work independently.
  • 1-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Brussels based with all necessary documents to work in Belgium.
