BIOSCALES addresses the challenges of transitioning towards a sustainable bioeconomy by balancing ecological, social, and economic priorities. The project adopts a systemic, multi-actor approach to promote responsible use of bio-based products, circular biomass utilisation, and the substitution of energy-intensive conventional products with sustainable bio-based alternatives. Through five diverse European case studies, BIOSCALES will co-design and validate Sustainability-Optimised Target States (SOTS) for bioeconomy innovation ecosystems, involving stakeholders across the Quintuple Helix.
White Research leads the project’s dissemination, communication, networking, exploitation, and innovation management activities. WR will develop and implement the project’s communication and dissemination strategy, build synergies with relevant EU projects and initiatives, and coordinate the exploitation strategy to support the uptake and long-term impact of BIOSCALES results. This includes developing tailored communication materials and practice abstracts, engaging relevant stakeholders and networks, identifying Key Exploitable Results, and supporting the replication and sustainable implementation of project outcomes beyond the project lifetime.
