Project narrative

In today’s evolving landscape, remote work is reshaping urban and rural dynamics across Europe. R-Map, supported by the EU’s Horizon Europe program, delves into this transformative trend. Through collaborative research and stakeholder engagement, R-Map explores the intricate relationship between remote work and the urban-rural gap, focusing on social, spatial and economic dimensions.

R-Map employs advanced research methods to analyse, predict and understand the impact of remote working arrangements. By integrating diverse data sources and cutting-edge modelling techniques, the project aims to predict future trends and challenges. With six pilot cases spanning Europe, R-Map seeks to bridge the urban-rural gap and inform policy decisions for a more sustainable future.

At White Research, we play a crucial role in driving R-Map’s communication strategy and dissemination efforts. We also facilitate cross-regional dialogues, ensuring diverse perspectives shape R-Map’s insights. Our mission is to amplify R-Map’s impact, fostering meaningful connections within and beyond the project.
