White Research is proudly represented by two of its flagship projects, ROBIN and MainstreamBIO, and as the Dissemination Manager for both, is co-organising the upcoming European Rural Circular Bioeconomy Conference. The event will take place on 13–14 May at Comet Louise in Brussels, Belgium. This landmark event is co-organised by six Horizon Europe projects: ROBIN, MainstreamBIO, SCALE-UP, BioRural, BIOMODEL4REGIONS, and RuralBioUP, all active members of the Rural Bioeconomy Alliance.
Marking the final event for both ROBIN and MainstreamBIO, the conference will serve as a platform to promote innovation, share policy recommendations, and showcase practical, real-world applications of bioeconomy solutions across Europe.
Specifically, over the course of two days, the conference will bring together a wide range of stakeholders from local communities, policymakers, industry leaders, and rural representatives to discuss and reflect on the strategies and approaches implemented by these collaborative projects. Moreover, project partners and bioeconomy network representatives will explore the tools developed through these initiatives and share success stories and insights from their regions, demonstrating how these initiatives contribute to building a more resilient, greener, and sustainable rural bioeconomy.
By bringing together diverse stakeholders from across Europe, the conference aims to inspire, educate, and empower local actors to adopt best practices and accelerate the transition towards a more sustainable and resilient rural bioeconomy, offering a rich blend of panel discussions, expert presentations, hands-on training sessions, and co-creation of policy recommendations.
