Koç University

Koç University (KU) is a first-class research university, located in Turkey and employing highly talented researchers across a wide spectrum of disciplines. KU has a successful track record in acquiring funding from prestigious instruments and has developed a strong research funding and implementation support office, operating from its main campus.

As Turkey is one of the EU Horizon 2020 Programme (H2020) associate countries, KU aims to further expand its researchers’ access to European funding instruments and strengthen its European network. Koç University’s research mission is to contribute to the universal body of knowledge and influence intellectual, technological, economic and social developments on a global scale. Faculty members contribute to their fields both individually and in strategically designed cross-disciplinary teams. The overall goal of Brussels in A Box for Koç University, is to provide it with EU Funding and Support services and amplify its presence in Brussels, increasing its access to European funding instruments, improving its visibility in the European research arena and supporting its direct involvement in important networks within and around the EU H2020 programme. Building on our strong expertise and knowledge of H2020 and dedicated stakeholder engagement services, we support Koç University offices and principal investigators with tailored strategies and tools.

With weekly contact, a common understanding and shared goals, we have formed a strong relationship with our partners at Koç University.
