Project narrative
The European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT) is an EU body created by the European Union in 2008 to strengthen Europe’s ability to innovate. The EIT supports the development of dynamic, long-term European partnerships among leading companies, research labs and higher education. These partnerships are called EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) and each is dedicated to finding solutions to a specific global challenge, from climate change and sustainable energy to healthy living and food.
Specifically the following KICs are up for review or assessment: EIT Climate, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Digital and EIT Food.
Our responsibility on the project is to carry out two of the final reviews/evaluations of the KICs, collecting data, analysing it, evaluating against a complex evaluation framework with multiple evaluation questions, criteria and indicators. The final outputs are reports of the findings and conclusions as well as the recommendations to the EIT.
