Project narrative

The EU aims to become carbon neutral by 2050 and Energy Intensive Industries shall play an important role in this transition by adopting renewable energy (RE) solutions whilst remaining competitive. Feasible RE solutions are identified and promoted through a comprehensive network of stakeholders and market actors. A baseline methodology for the design of RE deployment action plans is developed in collaboration with technical and financial experts and validated in 3 industrial case studies from the chemical, steel and aluminium sectors. A solid replication strategy will enable the roll out of this methodology in at least 8 additional use cases in a variety sectors aiming to be eventually replicated across Europe.

We are responsible for designing and guiding the stakeholder engagement strategy, orchestrating the set-up of the collaborative network as well as coordinating the interactions and feedback exchange between the project partners and market actors. We will also provide support with the legal, social and financial framework challenges of the project cases.
