Project narrative

The wide adoption of 5G networks will be game-changing and influential to almost every aspect of an EU citizen’s lives. However, due to various factors including their centralised architecture and increased dependency on software, make such networks potential entry points for cyber-attacks.  As such network security is an EU-wide issue of strategic importance.

To this end, the SANCUS project combines the competencies of 15 partners from 8 European countries to design and develop a reliable and optimal defence scheme that will be adaptable to dynamic changes. Moreover, the system network cybersecurity and privacy performance will be measurable through new inclusive KPIs demonstrating the security-vs-privacy-vs-reliability efficiency trade-off.

We are responsible for leading the innovation management within the project and securing sustainability of the project’s results beyond the project’s timeline. We also provide an outline of the main exploitable assets and secure the protection of all emerging IP assets.
